International Skills Centre India

The journey that started 27 years ago with the vision of making New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) a global learning hub, a unique gurukul to nurture courageous global change leaders – ameliorated when NDIM entered Japanese grounds.

On 28th March, 2018, NDIM was chosen as a Sending Organisation under Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signed between Govt. of India and Govt. of Japan to send skilled Indian manpower from India to Japan.

We are also proud to share that NDIM signed an MoU with the Government of Manipur: Department of Health & FW on 10th June, 2019 under which NDIM and the Govt of Manipur will support each other to train and send 15 candidates from Manipur to Japan to work as part of Functional Recovery Care (FRC) Units under this Indo-Japan Project in Japan.

NDIM has also signed an MoU with Life Holdings Co. Ltd, Japan to send highly skilled manpower. We are strongly supported by Japan Foundation, Embassy of Japan, India and Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA). It is their faith in us that has led us to achieve heights that no other PGDM Institute has, in India, when it comes to our progress in Japan.

Japan, the land of the rising sun, has opportunities for NDIM Students which could lead them towards working as an HR Business Partner, IT Professional, Operations Manager, Business Development Manager, Financial Analysts, Product Managers, Technical Managers, Advertising Executives, etc in Japan. The acute shortage of manpower that Japan is facing has sprouted new possibilities for the young minds at NDIM.

Astonishingly, there are 163 Job Roles to every 100 Job Seekers in Japan and that is why Japan plans to attract 5,00,000 foreign workers by 2025. We want to bring your attention to the fact that the number of Japanese companies and establishments are increasing rapidly in India, especially Haryana and Maharashtra. In 2018 itself, 50+ Japanese organisations were visited by NDIM in Japan and till date, 60+ Japanese companies, the potential recruiters, have visited NDIM Campus.

Being the only authorised PGDM Institute in India to send manpower to Japan, NDIM Students have the advantage of attaining these international job opportunities with ease. NDIM has a representative office in Japan and one full time Director in Japan.

A project like this will not only bring in employment opportunities but it will have a multiplier effect by transforming the development sector of the country and promoting the bilateral cooperation between India and Japan. It will benefit the students in their overall development and help them leverage their harmonising strengths for a prosperous future.
