Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Aligarh Muslim University and a Post Graduate MBA in Human Resources from New Delhi Institute of Management.

As Process Associate – HR with Aksh Optifibre Limited, a three decade old company manufacturing optical fibre and optical fibre cables.

Prior to this she worked as HR Business Partner with Accretive Health, one of the United States’ largest hospital revenue cycle management companies and sells finance-related services to the healthcare industry.

Other Companies worked at: GHCL Ltd. and Mynd Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

“NDIM is known for its over the top efforts to bring the students close to achieving their career’s perspectives. Mentoring Program was one such initiative which helped us in achieving the same. Our industry mentor was Samrana Rao; she is a Head HR at Accretive Health. She provided us with great insights about the industry and helped us to find the right set of skills to harness for our future goals. She taught us never to say ‘NO’ to any challenges and even if you fail, celebrate it as it teaches you how to do it again in a better manner. She is an exceptionally good human being, she taught us the complex politics of the corporate world is just temporary, but our hard work is permanent and that only this will bring recognition for us in long run. At this stage of life when we all are in dilemma about our career, she answered all our questions and helps us to move in a better direction and that too with mental peace. Such type of programs should be encouraged in college as per our opinion”.
