We met the AVP-HR, Mr. Sandeep, at Sodexo and he shared his professional experiences with us, which were quite inspirational. The meeting lasted for around 2 hours, wherein he told us about the importance of understanding how a business actually works, how companies make profit etc. We learnt that it is extremely important to understand a company’s business in order to work there. He also gave us tips for placement, that if we understand the business of the recruiting organization, in terms of their various ventures, annual revenue etc., then our knowledge will definitely boost our confidence during the interview. This will not only leave a positive impression on the interviewer from the recruiting organization but also give us an edge over the other candidates thereby enhancing our chances of selection. It was indeed a very useful session. He also asked us about our winter internship experience and our learnings from it.
